Home on the Range

I bought a ticket home tonight. A round-trip, without knowing if I need to come back here. After I wrote my last posting, Shannon did call me (after 5:30pm) on Friday. Essentially, she rewrote the job description for the position a step below the Assistant Director position I'd been interviewing for (and on parallel with the two older women), and I think they're going to try to fit me into that role instead. This requires her to submit the new job description for approval, after which it must be posted on their website for at least five days and I'll have to submit my resume again (but hopefully not have to interview again!!). Then and only then, if they don't get any resumes from people they think are better qualified/that they "have to look at", then I could get an answer. Minimum two weeks, probably more like three with the holiday weekend. I might even stretch that to four, knowing how long this process has taken so far. So that's that.

I'm looking forward to going home. My return to NYC is set for July 15...we'll see if I return. Now to decide if I should take all my stuff with me or leave some of it here? Any thoughts?
