Gimme the green stuff!

Hallelujah and praise the Lord, I have been PAID! It is a wonderful warm, tingly sensation to see one's account balance raised from 23.87 to a four digit figure (by 7 cents, but I'm not complaining)! I guess that means I can pay Christopher back, who on Wednesday became my very own personal loan officer. What a Schatz!

You know, this would be the perfect opportunity to rant on about how bad money is as a concept and how we should reduce our dependence on it, return to a barter/trade economy and the like. But you know what? I kinda like money (when I have it, otherwise I hate it of course, just like everyone else). I don't really know any different, so it would be hard to imagine life without it, wouldn't it?

PS Oh goody, this means I can go to the American/British supermarket that I found and get pumpkin pie filling! Yippee!
